Chris Grandi Managing Director

Chris is a founding member and Managing Director of the Abacus Group. Chris is responsible for Corporate Strategy, Finance and Operations. Chris was previously the President of Eze Castle Integration where he helped grow the company from 30 employees to over 300 employees servicing more than 450 hedge fund clients. Prior to this Chris, co-founded and later sold Dynamic Transactions, Inc. which developed internet payment software for commercial banks. Prior to this, Chris worked in the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities division at Goldman Sachs in New York. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Viktor Tadijanovic Technology Director - East Coast

Viktor is a founding member of Abacus and currently manages Abacus's East Coast Technology Group. Prior to founding Abacus, Viktor was a Senior Systems Architect at the Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), where he led a one-year project to re-architect and deploy their IT production platform as well as implement a global disaster recovery solution. Prior to GLG, Viktor was a Technical Director at Eze Castle Integration where he was responsible for managing technology delivery to all hedge fund clients in New York City and Connecticut. Viktor possesses accreditations from NetApp, Cisco, VMware, Citrix and Microsoft. Viktor received a degree in Network Engineering and Data Communications from the Chubb Institute in New York.

Jeff Wallace Technology Director - West Coast

Jeff is a founding member of Abacus and currently manages Abacus's West Coast Technology Group. Prior to founding Abacus, Jeff was the Technical Director of the Western Region for Eze Castle Integration. In this role, Jeff was responsible for all technical implementations and on-going IT support for all hedge funds in the Western Region. During his tenure, Jeff led over twenty five technology refreshes, moves and new builds for hedge fund clients. Jeff possesses accreditations from NetApp, VMWare, Cisco, Citrix and Microsoft. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University in Washington DC.

Jason Elmer Director of Business Development

Jason serves as Abacus's Director of Business Development and is based in New York. In his role Jason oversees all activities associated with new business and marketing. Most recently Jason was Head of US Sales for Options-IT a global high performance technology infrastructure provider who serviced hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and investment banks. Previously Jason was VP of Institutional Sales at NYFIX, where he focused on electronic trading and connectivity sales to hedge funds. Jason's began his career in municipal sales and trading at Bergen Capital a division of BB&T. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the Fordham University College of Business Administration.

Ricardo Estevez Director of Client Technical Services

Ricardo serves as Director of Client technical services and is based in New York. Prior to Abacus, Ricardo was the Director of Information Technology at North Sound Capital, where he oversaw all aspects of technology including infrastructure services, disaster recovery, software development, and telephony. Prior to that, he was the Regional Manager of Eze Castle Integration's Connecticut operation. In this position, Ricardo was responsible for all implementations and on-going IT support for all hedge fund clients in the region. Ricardo earned a B.A. in Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Darrell Tucker Client Services Director - East Coast

Darrell currently serves as the head of Client Services for Abacus East Coast client base. Prior, to Abacus, Darrell was Head of US Project Management for Options-IT a global high performance technology infrastructure provider who serviced hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and investment banks. Previously, Darrell served as Technical Director for BNP Paribas's Prime Brokerage Division in the Eastern Region. While based in BNP Paribas's New York office, Darrell was responsible for managing the hosted IT platform for all hedge fund clients who were procuring IT services through the BNP Paribas Prime Brokerage group. During his ten years with BNP Paribas and Bank of America Prime Brokerage (acquired by BNP), Darrell was responsible for the implementation and management of all IT functions at over 50 different hedge funds. Darrell holds a BA from the University at Albany and is located in New York.

Brian Sigmond Client Services Director - West Coast

Brian is a founding member of Abacus and currently serves as the head of Client Services for Abacus's West Coast client base. Prior, to founding Abacus, Brian was the Technical Director for BNP Paribas's Prime Brokerage Division in the Western Region. While based in BNP Paribas's San Francisco office, Brian was responsible for managing the hosted IT platform and all hedge fund clients who were procuring IT services through BNP Paribas Prime Brokerage group. During his seven years with BNP Paribas and Bank of America Prime Brokerage (acquired by BNP), Brian was responsible for the implementation and management of all IT functions at over 50 different hedge funds. Brian holds a BA from the University of Florida and is located in San Francisco.

Chris Steele Software Services Director

Chris manages Abacus's Software Services division and is responsible for Systems Integration, Process Automation and Custom Reporting projects for Abacus clients. Chris most recently worked at Round Table Investment Management where he managed the ongoing integration of Round Table's systems, counterparties and service providers. Prior to this, Chris was a Product Manager at BlackRock Solutions where he was responsible for the Aladdin enterprise investment platform. Prior to Blackrock, Chris established the Client Integration Group for Citco Fund Services in New York City, where his primary role was to ensure new hedge fund clients experienced a successful transition onto Citco's Aexeo® platform. Chris is a Chartered Financial Analyst and received a Bachelor's of Commerce from the University of Ottawa, Canada.

Matt Williams Senior Systems Engineer

Matt was the Systems Engineering lead for BNP Paribas's Prime Brokerage Division in the Western Region. During his 12 years with BNP Paribas and Bank of America Prime Brokerage (acquired by BNP), Matt built, managed and maintained the technology services utilized by hedge fund clients throughout the United States. Prior to joining BNP, Matt worked in IT for Merrill Lynch. Matt holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and is located in San Francisco.
