Hosted IT Solutions Firm Enhances Cybersecurity Offering for Alternative Investment Industry
NEW YORK, November 14, 2017 – Abacus Group, a leading provider of hosted IT solutions for alternative investment firms, today announced the appointment of Dave Parsons as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Parsons brings over 25 years of experience in the IT and security fields working primarily as a private security consultant for some of the largest financial services firms in the world, including Barclays, Deutsche Bank, Citibank and Macquarie Bank.

Parsons has a master’s degree in information technology from Harvard University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He has extensive knowledge and expertise in developing and managing information security programs and policies against compliance and regulatory requirements.
