A cloud-based service aimed at helping hedge funds and private equity funds reliably exchange documents and collaborate on projects was launched this week by Abacus Group LLC. The new service, known as FlexDrive, is a file-hosting service that allows hedge fund and private equity managers to securely share and transfer files among colleagues, business partners and various devices, such as laptops, tablets and smart phones.
