Condé Nast’s Information Security Executive Joins Abacus Group
New York, August 5, 2014 — Abacus Group LLC, a leading provider of hosted IT solutions for hedge funds and private equity funds, today announced that it has appointed Brian Lozada as Director of Information Security. Brian will be based in New York and will report to Viktor Tadijanovic, Chief Technology Officer of Abacus Group.

Brian brings over 14 years experience in information security and will be responsible for the development of current and new Abacus security solutions that help financial institutions to protect their enterprise systems, applications and data from cyber intrusions. Most recently, Brian was the Director of Information Security at Condé Nast, where he was responsible for overseeing the security and risk management for all digital and technology operations. He led the company’s integration of information security efforts in the development of next-generation digital products and services. Prior to Condé Nast, Brian held several senior management positions for technology and information security positions at Sony Music Entertainment, Vonage and Accenture. He is CISSP certified and has a B.S. in information security from ITT Technical Institute and is currently completing his M.S. in homeland security at Monmouth University.
