Asset managers historically have had to provide trade and performance data, but technology advancements don’t always make the job easier. Today, increased real-time reporting requirements in tandem with mounting changes to technology and regulations have made it a struggle for organizations to keep track of it all, experts say. A lot has changed on multiple fronts of asset manager operations, from processing and risk management to the technology components, says Jim Suglia, head of U.S. investment management consulting at KPMG. “It’s mind-blowing for a lot of organizations.”
